It’s been a cold winter, and the warmth, joys (and terror) of The Illusion Horror Convention seem like a distant memory… or a wistful yearning now that the next dates in December 2026 have been announced. 

But…what do we do until then? How do we fill the endless void for emotional torture and gaming fun? 

At The Illusion Horror Spring Con Community Weekend, of course! 

Join in on an informal community-led event intended to simply celebrate the love of TTRPGs on the Discord server! 

Details

• When: Friday 15nd May - Sunday 17th May 2026

• Who: This is organized by community volunteers, not by the pro-con-organisers, tagged by @Spring-Con-Organizer 

• How: Kind behavior throughout and following Server and Con codes of conduct is mandatory.
  BE NICE & PATIENT WITH YOUR GMs (and organisers!) 

• What: Games only - of any TTRPG GMs wish to host. Those new to GMing are particularly encouraged to host games! 

• Where: On this server! While this is a community event, game submission and the player lottery will be very similar to how it works for the Con:

  • • GMs will be able to submit their game proposal and time slot via a form, which will be shared in its own post when ready.

    • Once all games have been submitted, they will be sorted into a ‘Player Handbook’ on the Convention website.

    • Players will then be able to choose and prioritize three games in each time slot.

    • After the player application closing date, player allocations to games will be made via lottery, using the players’ submitted prioritization of games.

So let's get as dark (and colorful) as we like and uplifting as possible! 

Join us in supporting both experienced GMs and those who are dipping their toes into running games for the first time.
